22 October 2013 - Advanced Health & Care (Advanced) today announces the launch of Caresys version 8, the latest version of the software company’s widely used end-to-end care home management solution. The new version includes many new features including an updated user interface, designed to enhance navigation. The new interface increases the speed with which users can move around the solution which reduces time spent on administrative tasks and enables staff to focus more on planning and delivering great care services.
Caresys is used by more than 3,000 residential, nursing and specialist care homes across the UK. The solution includes nine fully-integrated modules, including: time and attendance, income/billing, care planning, behaviour support, care scheduling, finance, HR, enquiries and equipment maintenance.
The latest version of the software provides enhanced password policy regulation, ensuring that service user data remains completely secure when accessed from all devices.
The personal monies function has also been updated to make it easier for care providers to record and manage multiple sources of income for their residents and ensure these are allocated correctly. The sales ledger functionality has also been enhanced and now enables accounts personnel to include billing line reference numbers in invoices. This makes it easier to invoice multiple funding sources.
Caresys version 8 also includes a spellchecker tool which will prove vital within the care planning and daily records functions.
Jim Chase, Managing Director, Advanced Health & Care comments: “I’m confident that the latest version of our Caresys software will make it easier for care staff and managers to access the key information they need and further reduce time consuming manual processes. This frees up staff time to focus on delivering great quality care.
“We’ve introduced these new features following in-depth discussions with our customers and feedback we have received via the user groups we host on a regular basis. We are committed to a program of continuous product development in order to ensure that Caresys is completely in-line with our customers’ requirements in a complex and ever-changing sector.”
Advanced will be demonstrating Caresys version 8 at a number of care sector events including: Berkshire Care Conference (7 November), The Care Show Birmingham (13 November) and Brighton Care Roadshow (19 November).
