London – 7 February 2013 – Six Degrees Group today announces it has opened its new London headquarters (HQ) at 33 King William Street near Monument in central London. The move follows 18 months of rapid growth since the company, which provides integrated managed data services to the mid-market, was first launched.

The new HQ features a vast, 18,000 square foot open-plan office.  It will initially consolidate over 130 existing Six Degrees Group employees whilst providing room for expansion as the company continues to pursue its organic growth strategy. The company currently employs more than 200 people across the UK.

Alastair Mills, CEO of Six Degrees Group, said, “We’ve experienced tremendous growth in a short space of time – from customers and revenues to employees and resellers.  Having all our London team in one facility allows our teams to work and socialise together. In addition, in gives us a demonstration capability where we can showcase our leading edge converged data, hosting and voice solutions.”

The new office features several areas for team members to collaborate with one another.  At the hub of the new office is a breakout area featuring diner-style seating, pool table, television and music, which are designed to foster team spirit, fun and creativity.  For the management team at Six Degrees, investing in a collaborative, positive and engaging office environment isn’t just about good business sense but a central part of the company’s own culture.

As an example, the community spirit at Six Degrees Group extends beyond the new office through its company-wide CSR programme Six Degrees of Hope that helps underprivileged and orphaned children in Africa. Recently, four Six Degrees Group champions visited several projects in Tanzania that are supported by the charity. To date, Six Degrees Group employees have held events, run marathons and cycled hundreds of miles to raise over £80,000 to support this charity.
