British manufacturer Y-cam has today announced that their HomeMonitor app is available on Windows Phone. The latest announcement means that HomeMonitor is the first cloud camera to launch on the platform, and makes Y-cam the first home monitoring company to have dedicated software on three major operating systems; iOS, Android and Windows Phone.
HomeMonitor solves the problems that current complex, inaccessible and outdated security systems create. A simple and intuitive all-in-one camera that can be setup online in less than 60 seconds, HomeMonitor connects through Wi-Fi to remove untidy and unnecessary cabling. With accessibility at its core, HomeMonitor works on multiple platforms, including PC, Mac, iOS, Android, Roku and now Windows Phone.
The distinctive feature of HomeMonitor is that any clips recorded by the camera are securely stored in the user’s personal cloud account, off-site and out of view to reduce risk of theft, damage or loss. Recorded clips can be accessed from anywhere using the Internet or apps, and are stored online for free for 7 days with the option to view or download them at any time. An optional upgrade is available to store clips for 30 days.
The HomeMonitor app for Windows Phone lets users login and view their cameras live, as well as access old clips in the video archive, making it easier than ever for people to monitor their home and possessions from anywhere in the world.
HomeMonitor is available in two models, both with free cloud recording. HomeMonitor Indoor is available for £149.99 RRP and HomeMonitor Outdoor is available for £249.99 from www.amazon.co.uk and www.homemonitor.me
