Bond Teamspirit, the provider of modular yet fully integrated HR and Payroll software, has been selected by Ocean Housing Group Ltd to provide its HR and payroll software. Bond Teamspirit won the five-year contract after a thorough tender process against three other suppliers.
A registered social landlord, Ocean Housing Group Ltd uses the Bond Teamspirit software to effectively and efficiently manage HR and payroll functions for its 240-strong workforce. One of the key factors in the decision to select the integrated Bond Teamspirit software was the single database supporting both HR and payroll. This allows Ocean Housing’s eight regular users to view the most accurate and up-to-date personnel information regardless of which department last made a change. The Bond Teamspirit interface is very user-friendly, ensuring the HR & Finance teams could hit the ground running without extensive training. In addition, it also enables the Health & Safety and IT Managers to access only those sections that are relevant for the smooth running of their departments.
Ocean Housing manages over 4,000 existing properties and has a programme to build 100 affordable homes throughout Cornwall each year for the next five years. Before it selected Bond Teamspirit, it used two systems and two different databases for its HR and Payroll, which was inefficient for an organisation its size. With Bond Teamspirit, Ocean Housing Group Ltd is now able to process its monthly payroll in a fraction of the time it used to take.

Ocean Housing Group Ltd expects to add the self-service module in the near future to make even further administration time savings and to give employees control over their own information. The self-service module enables employees to input their own data including updating bank details, and inputting expenses. It is also considering the application management module to make it easier to manage the online recruitment process in the future.
