Oslo, Norway – 19 February 2013 – Cornerstone OnDemand (NASDAQ:CSOD), a global leader in cloud-based Learning & Talent Management solutions, today announces that Statkraft, Europe's largest renewable energy company, and Hydro, a global manufacturer of aluminum, have selected Cornerstone’s talent management technology to help manage and develop talent within the organisations. Statkraft has invested in the complete Cornerstone Talent Management platform, whilst Hydro has invested in Cornerstone Performance & Talent Cloud.

Statkraft had previously relied on a variety of HR solutions to manage all of its HR tasks. However, it wanted to consolidate all information relating to recruitment, learning and performance, succession and compensation into one platform for its 3,000 employees. It selected Cornerstone OnDemand because of the speed at which it could deploy the solution and its ability to share information across the different elements of the platform, creating a clear life cycle for every employee, from recruitment to development.
Hydro selected Cornerstone OnDemand because it wanted a standardized approach to performance management across the organisation’s multiple locations and 23,000 employees. Ease of use and implementation was crucial as the company wanted a solution that effectively could support a performance oriented culture without being overly reliant on IT support or Cornerstone OnDemand.
