Be Informed, an independent software company, announces its latest research and innovation activities in a new Research Department. This is based on the ambition to maintain leadership in the software solutions for knowledge-intensive organisations across Europe and to support companies who want to innovate their primary business processes. The department will be led by Jeroen van Grondelle as Research Director.

Be Informed takes part in an increasing number of research projects in collaboration with universities across Europe, for example in the European Seventh Framework Programme. In addition, Be Informed has initiated a growing number of innovative projects with customers, partners and universities. Examples include: Webscale business processes, UIs for Model Driven Applications, Language Technology, and Supporting Policy Makers.
