The move allows Searchmetrics to expand its range of products and services with the addition of a comprehensive, flexible and scalable on site search engine from W3 Solutions. It also means Searchmetrics is adding W3 Solutions’ large number of well-known clients to its client base. They include major brands such as Deutsche Telekom, Microsoft, Die WELT, AUTO BILD, COMPUTER BILD and the Hamburger Abendblatt.
W3 Solutions’ highly scalable SiteSearch search engine represents a valuable addition to the range of services offered by Searchmetrics. It can be adapted and customised to ensure that end users and customers who are on client sites can quickly and easily find the content they are searching for. Different weightings can be given to individual attributes of the content - for example title, tables or text body – to provide the most smooth and effective search experience for a site’s specific audience. This high degree of flexibility makes W3 SiteSearch ideal for use in large online networks such as the publishing industry or knowledge management.
