A new data maintenance service from CRM Technologies is providing Manhattan Associates' marketing department with a 100%, valid and up-to-date data set so they can focus on successful campaign execution, without being distracted by data quality or integrity issues.
Manhattan Associates use the Salesforce.com tool for its marketing activities. The quality of its campaign responses depend entirely on the quality of information within the database, from the start. The company also needs an up-to-date, single view of each contact on a marketing data set - with accurate information derived from different sources. These issues present them with a real challenge of maintaining effective data integrity.
Alan Edwards, marketing director at supply chain software solutions business Manhattan Associates, confirms the value of maintaining a regularly-updated and cleaned data set. The new data is then applied either directly back to the Salesforce.com system or provided as a single data set ready to be loaded by Manhattan Associates. Using a combination of highly sophisticated automation and manual intervention processes, ensures that data is fully-serviced and returned in both a logical and usable condition.
