Data warehouses have been with us now for many years, and yet the market has been very dynamic recently, with the advent of specialist data warehouse appliances to challenge the established database vendors.  Despite these new developments, many customers have found that their data warehouse developments have not succeeded, resulting in a proliferation of competing warehouses around the organization – very few companies have just a single data warehouse.

To what extent is this picture really the case, and how do customers actually view the reliability of their data warehouse data?  Is the data within the warehouse(s) trusted, accurate, timely and complete in the eyes of business customers?   How is data quality dealt with in these data warehouses?  Just how large are the data warehouses in use today, and how much effort do they take to maintain?

We are conducting a survey to answer these questions and more.  It consists of around 20 questions and should not take more than 10 minutes of your time.  In return for your filling in the survey you will receive a free summary of the consolidated results (individual responses are anonymous) as well as an entry in a prize draw, in which you can win a free Information Difference Vendor Profile of your choice (which sells at $495).

The survey is here.
