Ctrack launches battery-powered tracking device for trailers and other unpowered assets

Released: 1st February 2013
Publisher: Ctrack

Ctrack has extended its advanced range of tracking systems with the launch of a portable, battery-powered solution to help better manage, utilise and protect all types of powered and unpowered assets. Ctrack Wireless is a fully re-deployable device suitable for tracking a range of mobile resources such as trailers, plant equipment, containers, palletised loads, machinery and rental vehicles.

Ctrack Wireless requires no installation and will be available in rechargeable and non-rechargeable versions. Long-life power management technology and a flexible configuration will ensure low consumption with both tracking units possessing extended battering life of up to three years and six months respectively.

The system is designed to help companies achieve added visibility and control over a wider range of assets, enabling them to optimise resources and achieve added peace of mind. Ctrack Wireless can be used as a standalone tool or part of a wider tracking solution, with real-time and historical data viewed via the web-based Ctrack Online system or the Ctrack Mobi2 mobile application.

John Wisdom, Managing Director of Ctrack commented: “We possess the most extensive range of tracking systems, tools and devices in the marketplace, enabling our customers to benefit from tailored solutions that meet exact requirements and reflect the make-up of their mobile resources. Ctrack Wireless offers added flexibility and functionality for companies looking to achieve greater control and security over remote assets whether powered or unpowered.”
