Zylpha Extends License For Legal Quality Document Bundling To Support Enterprise Wide Applications

Zylpha (www.zylpha.com), the UK’s leading innovator of secure document production and distribution systems for the legal profession and public sector, has extended its document bundling license to encompass a broader range of applications across the enterprise. The move reflects the significant acceleration in demand for secure, legal quality bundling across all enterprise functions not just those concerning legal issues.

Under the terms of the new license, law firm users can now deploy Zylpha’s secure electronic document bundling for far more than just court cases. New application areas for which legal firms can create secure PDF bundles include: property conveyancing, contracts and expert witness evidence incorporating electronic signatures. Local Authorities and other public sector bodies also benefit from the new license and the ability to generate bundles across the enterprise. Bundling applications can range from Committee Meeting papers (combining agendas, minutes and reports) through to sensitive documents on the progress of social inclusion and community action programmes.

Commenting on the new license Tim Long, Zylpha’s MD said; “Document bundling has come of age. Zylpha used to be asked for a 5 user license in the department responsible for dealing with court documentation. However, those amongst our customer base who are aware of the power and potential of our bundling technology have been asking for an enterprise-wide license instead. Indeed a number of them see our bundling system as an effective method of standardising documentation throughout their organisation. In keeping with our policy of meeting customer needs, we have therefore created a new enterprise license to enable this.

“Thus with the new license in place, users can create PDF based bundles to meet a broad range of requirements and then send them securely both around the enterprise and beyond. This will significantly boost overall organisational efficiency and response speeds. It also delivers far higher levels of security and compliance in document communication and further reduces unsustainable paper consumption in the workplace. We are confident that the new license will greatly increase the demand for our bundling systems over the coming year.”

Zylpha is also seeing demand for integration with more and more case and document management solutions. Integration with Solcase® and Visualfiles® is already in place and Zylpha has recently added a number of complementary system companies to its list of partners including: Peppermint, Atkinson Lewis, Elite Pilgrim and Peapod.
