Eurac selects LogiXML for business critical reporting on its factory floor
Leading manufacturer cuts ERP licence costs and enhances user adoption with faster reporting

Released: 10th December 2012
Publisher: LogiXML

Reading, UK – 4 December 2012 - Eurac, a leading international brake disc manufacturer, has developed and deployed business critical reports for users on its factory floor within just weeks of using LogiXML’s web-based business intelligence (BI) technology.  By replacing its existing reporting solution with Logi Info, LogiXML’s information application development platform, the manufacturer has reduced the number of ERP licences required, to deliver an immediate return on investment of more than 50 percent, and has delighted its users with faster report response times.

Having been frustrated for some time with certain ERP reporting limitations, the Eurac IT team wanted a flexible BI platform that allowed them to be self-sufficient in terms of development, and would fit seamlessly within their virtualised environment which supports operations in the UK, Germany, and the Czech Republic.

“LogiXML has not only enabled us to delight our users on the factory floor with faster reporting performance and enhanced visualisation, but has also given us a platform to quickly deliver future financial reporting and performance dashboards at all levels of the business.  This has been delivered at minimal cost, more than half of which has already been covered by savings on ERP licenses,” explained James Perrott, IT Manager, Eurac.

The Eurac IT team is also excited about the opportunity to deploy LogiXML dashboards and reports to any combination of PCs, Tablets, or mobile devices – a feature which impressed the board during the product selection process.

“Our customers quickly discover the versatility of our platform to provide BI solutions far beyond the original business challenge for which it was purchased,” said Simon Ryan, Managing Director, EMEA, LogiXML.  “Without the constraints of additional licence costs, greater insight can be provided for more people, and manufacturers can drive greater value from existing business applications such as ERP systems.”
