Paderborn, 14th December 2012 - Wincor Nixdorf is one of the five biggest European software vendors and service providers. That's the result of the latest Truffle 100 survey by Truffle Capital, which examined the top 100 European software vendors.

Especially in the global retail segment Wincor Nixdorf ranks amongst the Top 3 of the leading software vendors. According to a report by Forrester Research, Inc., (The Forrester Wave™: Point of Service, Q2 2012), Wincor Nixdorf’s TP Application Suite was cited as a leader, and received the highest scores among all vendors in the “Current Offering” category.

The Forrester report covered the ten vendors with the highest global revenues from retail software solutions. It looked at the current offering, considering aspects such as advanced functionality, security, for transaction types and back-office functions, as well as product strategy and vision, services and corporate strategy and market presence with regard to the installed base, implementation scale and deployment flexibility. With the extensive scope of its TP Application Suite, Wincor Nixdorf “offers noteworthy experience and capability in international deployment, as well as innovative back-office capabilities for cash management that exploit synergies with its banking solutions.“.
