K3 Group and its close partner, azurri charity, has launched a flexible and cost effective software solution specifically for the Not for Profit (NFP) Retail sector. The approach which is also available via the “cloud” can help NFP organisations more effectively manage Gift Aid, charity sector point of sale, supply chain and financial information, and customer relationship management (CRM) for all donations and events.
The software is centred on the market-leading Microsoft Dynamics ERP product range with specific NFP charity sector modules enhancing this solution. It has been developed in partnership by K3 and azurri charity, and can be provided on a pay-as-you-go model, so customers can choose the services they require when they require them, on an affordable basis.
Gift Aid enabled through the system helps create both funds to cover any investment necessary to implement the system as well as additional capital and operational savings, which translate into reduced costs and an increase in charitable contributions.
The software includes Microsoft Dynamics, successfully installed in over 90,000 organisations globally, including Oxfam; the azurri Retail POS system which manages numerous charity shops across the UK, incorporating Gift Aid software and handling back-office administration of the Gift Aid system, which removes any resource or process constraint for the NFP sector.
The retail store systems is integrated to well-known Microsoft office products, and can incorporate a Not for Profit CRM offering which includes donation, member, campaign and event management, easing communication and the creation of new supporters.
K3 and azurri charity have provided solutions to a range of Not for Profit companies using Microsoft’s advantageous Not for Profit pricing structure, and their customers include; Oxfam, Macmillan, Royal Horticultural Society, the Salvation Army, Samaritans, Amnesty International Age UK and Bolton Hospice.
John Little, Sales Director at K3 Retail, said, “We are pleased to announce the launch of this new set of solutions for the Not for Profit sector. K3 strongly supports the Not for Profit sector and this initiative will deliver the best in class software and infrastructure solutions for current and new customers. We have built a whole host of additional functionality into the existing platform, which will give Not for Profit charity retailers higher visibility of their business including the focal aspect of donations.”
azurri are recognised specialists in the charity sector, delivering award winning solutions, winning IT project of the year with the Salvation Army in the 2012 Retail Systems Awards. They also bring expertise in gift aid including; administration, low entry PoS and managed services.
Alastair Petrie, Managing Director at azurri charity, commented, “ The partnership with K3 is very exciting as they have an excellent portfolio of Microsoft products that are complementary to our own specialist charity solution. The partnership opens up existing opportunities for azurri users and enables us to jointly offer our established range of solutions to a wider audience."
Microsoft and K3 Retail held a joint event on 29th November at the Microsoft HQ in the UK, formally launching a new set of products, with speakers from Oxfam and Macmillan, who shared their experiences and recent challenges faced whilst implementing new retail systems with the aim of increasing donations.
