In response to its recently expanded customer-base, expert IT solutions consultancy ramsac has expanded its IT support team with the appointment of Andy Southam to the new role of Technical Manager and Adam Morris to Network Consultant at its Godalming-based team.
Dan May, Commercial Director of ramsac commented, “Our continued growth and planned expansion during 2013 means we needed a new Technical Manager and Andy fits the bill perfectly with his hands-on client experience. We are also delighted to welcome Adam as a new Network Consultant, who will be working with a number of our clients managing their IT infrastructures. It’s always exciting to welcome new members to the team, bringing fresh talent and ideas to our ever-evolving and expanding business.”
Andy Southam will be responsible for overseeing ramsac’s client project delivery and managing the team of onsite network consultants. He has over 20 years’ experience in the IT industry, having spent the last eight years with ramsac as an outsourced Network Manager for a number of the company’s clients.
With 10 years’ experience in the IT Industry, Adam Morris will be responsible for providing on-site technical services to a portfolio of ramsac’s clients, including commercial organisations and schools.
Dan May continues, “The role of the IT support industry has changed radically in the last few years and ramsac has evolved with these changes. Remote and home working, along with the Bring Your Own Device phenomenon, have changed the way many people work and the demands on an organisation’s IT support have diversified as much as the plethora of devices being used. But behind all the exciting technology changes, ramsac still adheres to the ethos of making IT simple and we continue to grow because we always recognise that business technology is there to support the core needs of the organisation it serves. Andy and Adam are a key part of our continued evolution which aims to stay ahead of demand and offer the best and most timely services that our clients rely upon.”

Founded in 1991, ramsac offers a ‘menu’ of outsourced stress-free IT services that allows clients to match their individual needs. For some clients it may simply be support at the end of the phone, for others a part-time network manager, for many businesses its help in developing a longer term overall IT strategy. Whatever the requirement clients are guaranteed impartial, jargon-free advice.
This enables those businesses and organisations for which a dedicated in-house IT department may not be practical, to outsource all or part of their IT needs. In return they benefit from properly planned cutting edge IT solutions and support without any of the headaches often associated with managing technology. The end result is that any business can now get top level joined-up grown up IT advice for a fraction of the cost.
ramsac is committed to providing excellence in customer service and is proud to maintain a 97% client retention rate. The company won the 2011 Toast of Surrey Award for the ‘Companies with a turnover of up to £5m’ category and sponsored and judged the same award in 2013. ramsac is also an ISO 9001 Quality Approved firm, a Microsoft Gold Certified Partner, a Citrix Silver Partner and an accredited Investor in People.
