Indigo Telecom Group Becomes Supplier for BT Wholesale Leading telecoms services group now a single source for advanced BT voice and datacoms services

Released: 13th November 2009
Publisher: Indigo Telecom

13 November, 2009 - Specialist telecoms services company Indigo Telecom Group is now a BT Wholesale supplier, enabling it to provide single-source voice and data communications services on the BT network directly to customers, without needing to involve third parties.

Indigo can now offer complete management services for customers' BT trunk and private networking lines, and deliver substantially reduced rental and call rates, together with billing and line rental services. This ability to provide a complete communications solution cuts complexity and telecoms management overheads for customers.

Indigo will also be able to offer its customers consultancy and change management services to assist them in migrating voice and data traffic onto BT's next-generation 21CN network.

Mark Orchart, MD of Indigo Telecom Group said: "As a BT Wholesale supplier, we have the scale to provide complete, turnkey comms solutions for our customers, and ensure they get the best service and ongoing value. It's a key addition to our overall business offering, and helps us take advantage of the growing trend towards single-supplier telecoms outsourcing."

Indigo is a leader in first line maintenance, network management, installation and commissioning services across the UK and Europe, and is an Alcatel-Lucent premier partner. This enables Indigo to deliver and support advanced, converged network solutions to both public and private sector organisations.

Indigo's new headquarters and Network Operations Centre, which opened early in 2009, provides enhanced remote diagnostic and round-the-clock support services to customers. It also coordinates the company's 100+ strong field support team in the UK and Europe.
