Star Announces New 'Advantage Reseller Programme' for partners to sell on-demand CRM service

Released: 8th September 2009
Publisher: eclat Marketing

London, 8th September, 2009 - Star, a provider of on-demand computing and communication services for UK businesses, has launched a new programme enabling partners to add on-demand Customer Relationship Management (CRM) solution to their portfolio. Star's programme has no set-up fees and no long term contracts in order to help partners acquire new customers quickly and easily. This means resellers not only benefit from the recurring revenue of an on-demand service but will also sell their own professional services to implement, migrate, configure, support and maintain the solution.

Star CRM is a powerful way for resellers to enhance their customer value. The on-demand service, optimising Microsoft Dynamics technology, is designed for any reseller that would like to offer hosted CRM under their own brand. This includes resellers who may already deliver on-premise Microsoft Dynamics CRM but wish to provide an alternative that is much more accessible to the market in terms of cost and time to implement. It is also ideal for CRM consultancies, many of which are looking to open up new revenue streams by adding hosted CRM to their offering.

The reseller programme is fully managed by Star's technical team and has a fully supported white label option, so that UK businesses have a seamless service experience with their preferred reseller provider. End user accounts can be set up and managed via the Parallels provisioning and administration control portal and partners can simply sign up and pay for the seats that are consumed, with no long term contracts. The on-demand model frees up resources typically associated with on-premise installations and new end users can be provisioned within two days.

The Star CRM service is designed to provide companies of all sizes with the tools to build a customer-centric business philosophy and culture to support effective marketing, sales and customer service processes. It is designed to help companies to enjoy the benefits of improved customer intelligence and more efficient sales and marketing operations at an affordable price. The suite comprises of modules for marketing automation, sales force automation and customer service automation, all within the familiar Microsoft Outlook user interface.

Star's CEO Rick Hudson comments, "I'm delighted to invite CRM focused resellers to join our new programme. They will benefit immediately by the very best that Microsoft has to offer through Star CRM, optimising Microsoft Dynamics technology. Going to market with their own brand can be very powerful and will help them drive larger professional services revenues. We believe we have a very competitively priced programme that means our partners will earn great margins too. For small and medium sized UK business investing in Microsoft Dynamics, it is a real opportunity to help transform their business and will be one of the smartest technology investments they've ever made. The power of this solution, which can efficiently automate almost any process, cannot be underestimated. We fully expect the net result of adopting Star CRM for partners and end user customers alike will be a significant increase in the value of their business."
