One of Northern Ireland’s largest law firms is rolling out SOS Connect as part of a process re-engineering
project designed to maximise opportunities, boost business performance and enhance client services.
With offices in Belfast and Bangor, Wilson Nesbitt is a general practice firm with a particular focus on the property sector, acting for many leading lenders in refinance lending, recovery and professional negligence matters.
Senior partner Gilbert Nesbitt says the firm, which secured Lexcel accreditation ten years ago, decided to upgrade to Solicitors Own Software’s flagship SOS Connect application as part of a project to fine tune processes across the firm.
“We decided to undertake an upgrade of all our hardware and software in order to enhance and streamline our operations; moving to SOS Connect was a key part of that process,” he says.
“Specifically we wanted to achieve better compliance and risk management processes, improve our CRM, and create consistent firm-wide processes and workflows.
“As a firm we receive over 3,000 new business enquiries per year, so there is a real need to maximise the conversion of those opportunities by making our processes as intelligent and efficient as possible. SOS Connect is helping us to manage these opportunities and enquiries, from inception to client status, and beyond.”
As part of the overall IT upgrade, Wilson Nesbitt is also introducing a Citrix Cloud server solution, new desktop thin client devices and dual monitors for all our staff, and developing online wills and customer feedback processes.
David McNamara, managing director of SOS, said: “Wilson Nesbitt was quick to appreciate how SOS Connect could transform its processes and enhance its performance still further. We look forward to working with the firm as it continues on this journey.”
