Taking the Stress out of Upgrading to JD Edwards 9
Thursday 17th May - Marriott Forest of Arden Hotel and Country Club, Warwickshire - The JDE Alliance - a consortium of independent JD Edwards solution providers - announced today that it is hosting an educational and business networking event for JD Edwards users on Tuesday 29th May.
The focus of the event will be to provide JD Edwards users with knowledge and practical advice on addressing the challenges of upgrading to version 9 of the software.
The Go9 Play9 event, which is free of charge and open to all JD Edwards users, will take place at the Marriott Forest of Arden Hotel and Country Club in Warwickshire. It will feature presentations from upgraded JD Edwards users who will share their own implementation stories.
Attendees will be able to see demonstrations of the latest JDE Alliance Technologies and can also take part in a Roundtable discussion. The day's event will open with a keynote presentation from Oracle on "What's new in JD Edwards 9.0?"

The day's presentations will be followed by the opportunity to network with other attendees and, in the afternoon, guests will be able to play a round of golf at the prestigious Country Club Golf Course.
Paul Sutton, a member of the JDE Alliance, comments, "The challenge of upgrading to JD Edwards 9.0 is now one of the hot topics in the industry and we'd encourage anyone who has concerns about their own implementation to attend this event."
Sutton continues, "We want to offer attendees the opportunity to learn from a range of varied and real-life situations from existing users. The aim is to provide attendees with the knowledge and education around technologies that will help simplify the upgrade process."
