Migration Process Automation: SANpulse

Using its SANlogics software, SANpulse has solved two major enterprise problems in data and infrastructure management. First, it offers a complete solution delivering up-to-date visibility of the ever-changing, complex, multi-vendor infrastructure—and maintaining it to an optimal level—without needing massive people resources. Second, the data migration capabilities of SANlogics are significant in their own right, providing automated migration across heterogeneous environments. In the case of data migration, automation significantly reduces the risks involved in such migrations as well as reducing the amount of time and resources needed to complete such processes. Reducing risk is particularly important as, historically, many companies have delayed migration projects that they needed for business reasons because of fears about associated risks. The automation and risk reduction provided by SANpulse should mean that these projects no longer need to be postponed.
