London, UK – 1 May, 2013, Interoute, owner operator of Europe's largest cloud services platform, today announced PCI DSS certification of its Paris Data Centre Operations. Interoute maintains a PCI DSS certification for Data Centre Operations in its Amsterdam, Berlin, Geneva, London and Paris data centres, providing a secure Data Centre environment and managed hosting services to enable customers to meet their e-commerce requirements in compliance to the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS). This certification, aligned to Interoute's managed hosting and professional services, provides Enterprises with the building blocks to securely manage their e-commerce applications.
Interoute’s PCI DSS certified data centres in in Amsterdam, Berlin, Geneva, London and Paris also serve as Interoute Virtual Data Centre (VDC) zones. Interoute Virtual Data Centre can be scaled much faster than traditional physical platforms and has the flexibility to be provisioned as private or public cloud. It can be trialed for free on the Interoute CloudStore, an online retail marketplace for enterprises to buy applications tested and approved to work on Interoute Virtual Data Centre. This gives enterprises the ability to provision and control computing and storage infrastructure, on demand, online, using a pay as you go model. Uniquely, users can select the data centre and city they want their data to be hosted and stored in (ensuring compliance with stringent European data protection regulations) and can even transfer data and appliances between Virtual Data Centres in five different countries, for free using Interoute’s network.
