Kaspersky Lab, a leading developer of security and threat management solutions, is pleased to announce that Kaspersky Security for Virtualization won the “Best Security Solution for Virtual Terminals” award at both the CompuChannel Awards 2012 and the 2012 PC World Latin America Awards, held in Miami, Florida.

An agentless anti-malware solution that provides a more efficient way to protect virtualised infrastructures, Kaspersky Security for Virtualization is easy to deploy and includes advanced management features that simplify a wide range of security tasks across both physical and virtual computing assets.

Organised by CompuChannel Magazine, the CompuChannel Awards are regarded as the most important technology awards in Latin America. This year, more than 1,500 products were evaluated and the winners were selected by over 88,000 votes from technology aficionados in 20 Latin American countries.

Similarly, Kaspersky Security for Virtualization took the top honor in its category at the 2012 PC World Latin American Awards, which honor the best digital and IT products available in Latin America. The 14th edition of the awards saw more than 35 brands competing in 40 categories. The winners were chosen by PC World editors from 15 countries throughout the region.

In addition, Kaspersky’s Endpoint Solution 8 for Windows was recognized as the “Best Security Solution - Corporate Suite” at the CompuChannel Awards. Kaspersky Lab’s corporate solution provides multi-layered defenses by tightly integrating several powerful anti-malware technologies – including signature-based protection, proactive protection, controls and cloud-assisted security.
