Human Recognition Systems (HRS) – a leading biometric and identity management consultancy - is exhibiting at the Airport Operators Association (AOA) annual conference and exhibition 2009, 7–8 December at the London Hilton Metropole hotel.

The team will be showcasing the latest advances in ‘at a distance’ iris biometric technology, showing how this unobtrusive form of biometric capture and identification is ideal for mass iris recognition in airports.

Areas of the stand will be dedicated to thermal imaging and video analytics and how they can be used to improve passenger flow and for perimeter protection, as well as handheld mobile biometric devices that have been developed specifically for the aviation sector by incorporating fingerprint, card and passport reader technology.

HRS will also demonstrate videos of their latest portfolio of branded airport solutions. MFlow – a number of solutions that improve the passenger flow through airports; and MSecure – optimising security at critical areas across the airport.

The company, which recently won a prestigious international Frost and Sullivan award and reached the finals of the Orange National Business Awards, has also continued to demonstrate its commitment to best practice by making a significant contribution to the development of the biometrics industry’s first National Occupational Standards.
