Episys, the global information technology solutions and services company has implemented the Ultimate™ Platinum labelling system at Lab21 Limited, the global specialist in personalized medicine and clinical diagnostics, to produce labels for their diagnostic test kits and meet the required global regulatory standards.
The Ultimate™ Platinum package includes the Headers & Footers and Approvals modules which will give Lab21 a more accurate labelling system.
Hayden Jeffreys, Divisional Director – Diagnostic Products, at Lab21, said, “Following Lab21’s acquisition of Microgen, we reviewed our labelling system with the knowledge that the company used the Epysis system which offers a more comprehensive solution, which meets MHRA standards. Our recent agreement with a well-known US diagnostic company required a very specific labelling approach and the Ultimate™ process provided this for us.”
Derek Buchanan, Chief Executive Officer at Episys, adds, “Ultimate is fast becoming the de facto standard for labelling in healthcare so we are pleased that Lab21 has endorsed our solution.”
Lab21 is currently undergoing the set up stage and transferring their existing data across to the Ultimate labelling system. The project is expected to launch later this year.
