11 February 2009: SAS, the leader in Business Analytics has presented Capgemini UK with its SAS UK Partner of the Year Award, at today's SAS UK annual Partner Summit. Capgemini UK has been recognised for the integral part it has played in securing several high-profile deals within the public sector and retail industries.

The two companies have a long history of collaboration, spanning more than 10 years. Capgemini, one of the world's foremost providers of consulting, technology and outsourcing services, has been selected as one of SAS' top three global partners alongside SAS being recognised as a top global partner for Capgemini. Over the past 3 years, the relationship has gone from strength to strength; by capitalising on SAS' market leading business analytics software and Capgemini's forte in consulting, the two companies have enabled many customers to improve performance and transform their businesses.

Furthermore, Capgemini UK is working as a partner with SAS on new joint propositions including an Internal Audit offering aimed at all industries and an ID Resolution solution aimed at the public sector, both of which should be launched in 2009.
