Kent, UK - 17, November, 2009 - Network Instruments, a worldwide leader in network and application performance management, today announced that it is expanding its presence in northern Europe with the opening of a new sales office in Copenhagen. The opening of the office is in response to a significant increase in customers from the region, and will be headed by newly appointed territory manager Niels Anqvist.
"Network Instruments has a strong presence in Europe, serving as the performance management console of choice for many of continent's leading private and public sector organisations," said Anqvist. "My challenge is to mirror this success across Benelux and Scandinavia. Being based in Copenhagen allows us to work closely with local partners to create new sales opportunities, as well as quickly service the technical needs of existing customers. Key to growth will be showing customers the superior time and cost savings our performance management solutions provide."
Anqvist joins Network Instruments from SABA, where as territory manager for northern Europe he developed brand awareness and new business opportunities for the human capital management (HCM) software company, and was instrumental in its significant growth by increasing territory revenues by 400%. Prior to this Anqvist held a number of sales management roles in the IT and telecom sectors.
"Niels' experience of successfully operating and growing northern European sales operations will be a valuable addition to Network Instruments' EMEA business," said Ian Cummins, vice president, Network Instruments EMEA. "His appointment illustrates both Network Instruments' expanding position within the European market and its strong local commitment to customers and channel partners."
