Business coaching, staff training and team motivation programmes all sound like the luxuries of an economic boom. However, according to the CIPD (Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development) as the recession takes hold, employers are looking for more creative ways to ensure that staff training continues despite budget squeezes. In response to increased pressure to reduce carbon footprint and any unnecessary corporate expense, learning design company Infinity Learning, has today announced it will host a FREE best practice seminar on creating global learning that aims to bring out the best in employees to increase overall business performance.

The half day interactive seminar will take place in London on Friday 26 June 2009 and will help businesses to understand the value and benefits to be gained from choosing interactive e-learning and blended learning programmes that really inspire employees to deliver their very best performance.

Robin Hoyle, head of learning at Infinity Learning explains: "It really is crunch time; the time is upon us to find suitable solutions to the effect of the economic crisis in the training industry. With corporate budgets being cut left, right and centre it is vital now, more than ever, that businesses ensure that any investment in training, not only equips but inspires employees across the organisation to ensure that they deliver the very best performance for the business".

Rising energy prices combined with the tightening of regulations have pushed the ‘green agenda' into the boardroom arena as companies look for ways to reduce their carbon footprint. With this in mind the session also aims to share experiences and highlight how the right programme can also decrease carbon footprint by reducing travel time.

Globally consistent training has previously involved flying experts around the world to host large seminars with many participants. "The cost and inefficiency of this has left organisations struggling to work out ways of delivering global messages without the expense or impact on the planet of extensive travel. These increased concerns about the environment are turning people towards ‘global' learning solutions to address these needs. Our seminar aims to show that implementing the right programme can not only reduce environmental impact but also cut corporate expense by reducing time ‘off the job' for employees. It will also cover topics such as delivering global consistency, ensuring high quality, without compromising the needs to make local adaptations and promote local ownership of organisation wide initiatives. This is imperative if any returns are to be achieved," concludes Hoyle.

The session will kick off with breakfast and will also provide time for networking with industry peers. To register attendance businesses should visit: http://www.infinitylearning.co.uk/ or contact Clare Henderson on 01208 815 746.
