Calyx, the leading provider of end-to-end ICT solutions, has been recognised by the renowned Investors in People scheme for its significant investment and ongoing commitment to its staff . As a mark of additional recognition, Calyx has gone beyond Investor in People’s standard accreditation straight to bronze level.
“Calyx has worked exceptionally hard over the past 6 months, responding to feedback from our staff and our customers, creating the right internal culture and improving the ways employees are led, managed and developed. We recognise that these actions will lead, in turn, to improved customer relationships and a more successful business,” said Louise Robinson, Head of HR at Calyx.
For Calyx, this initiative has been searching and far-reaching . There has been a particular focus on ensuring the business has the right skills, competencies and talent to grow, both by developing existing staff and reviewing recruitment, interviewing and induction programmes for new joiners. There has also been an emphasis on re-defining the company’s values and vision to ensure all employees are not only fulfilling their own potential, but also working to a common goal.
“We are delighted to become an Investor in People organisation,” said Steve Clark, Calyx CEO. “The team has worked hard to achieve this accreditation and this is a testament to the whole company. The award follows a period of considerable change within the organisation but we believe we are developing firm foundations for the business from which we can re-launch our proposition and that this achievement marks the beginning of a new era and a period of sustained success.”
The entire company, led by the senior management team, is now working with Investors in People to achieve Silver Level.
