Serco, the international service company, has confirmed the appointment of Mohamad Djahanbakhsh as Managing Director of its education and learning business.

In his new role, Mohamad will be responsible for running Serco’s education and learning contracts including Ofsted, North East Lincolnshire and Halton and Warrington, as well as continuing to develop
products such as Serco’s Progresso MIS for schools. Mohamad brings with him 25 years experience in leadership, business development, marketing and running operations gained working within both the private and public sector.

By bringing together learning and education into a single team, Serco has further strengthened its proposition to schools, local authorities and Academy groups to better deliver its value-for-money products and services to the market.
