m-hance is celebrating after receiving a prestigious accolade for the environmental benefits of its business software which is enabling organisations to save 228 tonnes of CO2 per annum. m-hance has been named UK Green Champion, the highest accreditation of its kind, in the Science and Technology category at this year’s International Green Apple Awards for its mobile eProcurement system, Purchase Management, which significantly cuts paper use.
Purchase Management is an integrated mobile spend management solution that enables organisations to track the approval status and location of purchase requisitions, invoices and expenses, and confirm receipt of goods ordered electronically, minimising the time and costs associated with manual paper-based processes. Purchase Management is the Stockport-based company’s first intellectual property (IP) solution to receive a prestigious award for its green credentials, following significant investment in its social, cloud, and mobile product range this year.
The International Green Apple Awards, run by UK based The Green Organisation, recognise reward and promote businesses who demonstrate and provide environmental benefits within their practice and are established as one of the leading environmental award schemes worldwide. m-hance competed against more than 500 nominees in The Green Apple Awards and received its award at a recent ceremony held at the House of Commons.
Mark Thompson CEO of m-hance comments “We are thrilled that our Purchase Management solution has been recognised for its positive contribution to the environment by enabling businesses to save up to 228 tonnes of CO2 per annum. Being named as UK Green Champion justifies our efforts and significant investment in our innovative solutions that enable businesses to reduce their processing costs by up to 80 per cent by dramatically eliminating paper usage.”
