Global network access specialist, The Kenton Group, has today announced that it has achieved ISO27001 Certification, a significant milestone in the history of the company as it demonstrates that its technology, processes and infrastructure offer commendable security and protection for its data.

ISO 27001 is the International Standard for Information Security Management. The Standard is designed to ensure that adequate and proportionate security controls are put in place to protect corporate information and data in order to gain customer confidence.

The project, led by Barrie Corfield, Compliance Manager and Mike Giles, Engineering Manager, took five months to complete and is an important step towards helping The Kenton Group earn its GCN 224 Certification.

“We’re delighted to have been awarded with the ISO27001 Certification, it provides confidence to our customers and partners that we are certified to the ISO standard and reaffirms to them that their information and data are secure,” says project leader, Barrie Corfield.

“The achievement will also help strengthen The Kenton Group in assisting partners in bids, as well as helping generate future business.”
