APM Group, the Cloud Industry Forum’s (CIF) independent Certification partner, has today announced that ChannelCloud UK/Ireland has successfully recertified against the CIF Code of Practice, having initially gained the Certification in late 2011.

ChannelCloud, established ten years ago in the United States and launched in the UK and Ireland in January 2011, is rapidly making its presence felt in the cloud arena. The company has steadfastly built a reputation for delivering not only the technology and the platform for its clients, but the training and the tools to enable the transition to the Cloud. The company joined CIF in 2011 and actively participates in its Code of Practice and its Certification process.

According to Paul Byrne, ChannelCloud UK/Ireland’s CEO, CIF Certification has helped ChannelCloud UK/Ireland differentiate itself from those lacking the resources and capability to deliver a secure and robust cloud outcome for the business user: “For too long the channel and IT industry in general has lacked standards in the areas of transparency, capability and accountability. Crucial for us is the need to establish credibility in the market and that is why we aligned ourselves with the CIF Code of Practice in the first place. Our recertification is further evidence of our commitment to best practice.

ChannelCloud UK/Ireland has experienced first-hand the benefits brought by Certification to the CIF Code of Practice.

The CIF Self Certification process, as managed by APM Group, enables Cloud Service Providers to demonstrate transparency, accountability and capability to end users in a manner that allows the potential customer to make an informed decision about what the vendor offers.
