Leading South East law firm IBB Solicitors has signed a six-figure deal to roll out SOS Connect for integrated case and practice management. IBB is replacing its existing system with SOS Connect legal software from Solicitors Own Software.
IBB Solicitors is a full service law firm based in Uxbridge in west London. The firm services a broad range of client work arranged in four practice groups, with a fifth business support group covering management and back office support or the firm.
Joanna DeBiase, operations partner, confirmed that the transition to the SOS practice management system should be complete by the middle of next year.
“Our previous practice management system has served us well since 1997 – however, our existing provider had no successor product in place. We were looking for something new which would both update the ageing PMS functionality and provide us with a solid platform for developing new client systems.
“Using SOS Connect I am expecting to be able to continue moving towards a single electronic file for routine work and to utilise tablets paired with remote working capabilities, to really free the fee earners to work seamlessly away from the office. SOS Connect will play a part in providing the case inception and time recording capabilities, alongside our document management and email systems.
“In the current economic climate, SOS Connect proved to be a very cost-effective solution and we look forward to working with the SOS team to explore new ways to achieve a really good return on our investment.”
