Virgin Media Business announced today that Peter Kelly is to become managing director from 16th September 2013. Peter will report directly to Tom Mockridge, chief executive officer of Virgin Media, and will be part of the group executive committee, demonstrating the importance of the business division to the success of the wider Virgin Media group.
Peter brings with him an outstanding track record in B2B telecoms having spent the last five years at Vodafone, leading the transformation of their Enterprise division.

Tony Grace, interim managing director at Virgin Media Business, will continue in his role until Peter joins in September, at which time Tony will return to his previous position as chief operating officer of the business division.
Peter Kelly’s background
Peter is a highly experienced MD and General Manager with over 25 years’ experience in the ICT industry.
Since 2008 Peter has managed a team of over 1500 people as Enterprise Director of Vodafone UK driving the business in the areas of fixed line telecoms, mobile and IT services to a variety of market sectors including the public sector and multi-national enterprises.
Previously, Peter was President, Enterprise, EMEA at Nortel and responsible for a $900m enterprise business and managed a significant team focused on driving growth, profit and market share.
