20 November 2009 - Specialist telecoms services company Indigo Telecom Group has further boosted its senior management team with the appointment of Kevin Harris as projects director.

With 25 years of experience in the telecoms industry, Kevin will oversee both new and existing customer projects for Indigo, and will lead the development and implementation of new services.

He joins Indigo from Alcatel-Lucent where he was customer engineering director, responsible for delivering customer-focused projects, proof of concepts, new product introduction, and project engineering, integration and design across a range of technologies including wireline, wireless and next generation network solutions.

Kevin was with Alcatel-Lucent for 16 years in a number of senior engineering roles. Prior to this he was new product introduction director for Newbridge Networks, and a senior project engineer for Mitel.

Mark Orchart, managing director of Indigo said: "Kevin brings with him a huge depth of telecoms experience. He will play a key role in supporting the growth strategy we have in place, by helping to ensure our projects are delivered to an exceptional standard."
