QPR Software announced on November 6th the release of a new version of ProcessAnalyzer, their ABPD product. Version 4.0 provides a web user interface (UI) with collaborative functionalities targeted to business users and process owners, and an Excel Client with robust capabilities for the more demanding needs of process analysts. Teemu Lehto, Product Owner said, "QPR ProcessAnalyzer 4.0 brings Automated Business Process Discovery tools to a new level by delivering the results directly to the business audience."

The enhancements to the product include:

  • A collaborative web UI allows business users and process owners access to analysis reports and a single point where to share ideas and questions.
  • It includes the ability to automatically benchmark and compare the processes based on case attributes like geographical location, division, product group, cost centre and customer group.
  • The root cases for any identified process bottleneck and issue can be shown directly using Influence Analysis functionality. Users can see what size of an impact any attribute has to the identified issue.
  • Data from multiple sources, including business applications such as SAP, Salesforce, SQL databases and text files can be imported into ProcessAnalyzer in real-time.

Matti Erkheikki, SVP Direct Sales and OEM for QPR commented, "This new release supports our strategic direction of offering QPR ProcessAnalyzer as an OEM component to software vendors. Being cloud-based with in-database ABPD technology, the product gives hassle-free access to a new capability with quick time to market."

QPR keep enhancing ProcessAnalyzer and they are becoming a real major player in this market.
