PGP and IBM Supporting Bletchley Park

I blogged about my interest in Bletchley Park, home of the Allied code breaking effort of WWII a few weeks ago. I was moaning about the money being spent on the London Olympics for a two week festival of running and jumping whilst our national heritage, in the form of the Bletchley Park site, fell into disrepair.

So I was heartened to receive news of the initiative being kick started by PGP and IBM to get the international computer industry behind a new funding program. The idea is to get some interest in the history of computers amongst today's IT players and help support The National Museum of Computing, home of Colossus and the largest collection of working computers in Europe.

Unfortunately I was not able to attend the event held on 9th September but will be supporting from the wings. Further details of the program can be found at http://www.pgp.com/stationx/

Do try and drop by the website and offer some support.
